Our Story
Langley Christian School is a place where we strive to integrate our faith and learning in every area of life. It is our prayer that each student will discover their God-given abilities and learn ways to share those gifts as he/she grows to maturity.
All teachers on staff are fully certified by the Ministry of Education and committed to the vision and goals of LCS.LCS operates two campuses with an enrollment of over 1200 students, Kindergarten to Grade 12. The Elementary campus offers a full program from preschool to grade 5. The Secondary campus is home to our Middle School, grades 6 to 8, and our High School, grades 9 to 12. Our school curriculum, in addition to meeting all the requirements of the BC Ministry of Education, is taught from a Christian perspective. Since 1955 LCS has been committed to working in partnership with Christian parents to equip their children with the direction and skills necessary to live full and meaningful lives. Our desire is that our children will live lives that reflect a love for God and for others.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Langley Christian School has been offering enrolment opportunities to International students since 1996. Students from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Mainland China, Mexico and Brazil have been and continue to be an integral part of school life at Langley Christian. After graduation, many of the students have gone on to universities throughout Canada and the USA.
Each year a limited amount of spaces are made available in the LCS International Student Program for students who meet our entry requirements.
Students receive ELL (English Language Learning) support based on their level of English proficiency. Each student is tested when they start their studies at LCS.
If students are here in Canada without their parents and are in Grade 8 and above; the International Program Coordinator carefully selects Host Families who are part of the Langley Christian School community.
Marlene Bylenga, the International Program Coordinator at LCS, provides support to students and parents as they make the transition into their new community.
